Vienna For Marco Vienna from Italy I made one of my first D hole models. So I called this model the ‘Vienna’
The D hole is smaller than the Maccaferri D hole. The scale is 66,5 cm. The Vienna model also has a 14th fret joint. The traditional Maccaferri joint is at the12th fret. All round These are very all round instruments. Great for back-up paying, and excellent for solo breaks. The model Vienna is also used by Arnold Veeman. He’s a great composer and a singer. This shows that these instruments can be used in all kind of styles, and of course for gipsy jazz.
Arnold Veeman a great singer and composer
